You now have until 12 noon on Friday 2 October to submit your glass focus entries.

Take this extra time to nominate any people, products or initiatives that will help us celebrate glass as a material and the supply chain that supports it. We’re looking for bottles and building designs, outstanding apprentices, sustainable and safe practices and innovations from across the industry.

It’s completely free to enter and you can enter as many categories as you like – whether you are a member of British Glass or not. The categories for the 2020 awards are:

•    Design of the year – container
•    Design of the year – flat
•    Innovative solution
•    Health and safety action
•    Sustainable practice
•    Rising Star
•    Strengthening business through people
•    Marketing impact

What's more - all British Glass members entering any category will be put forward for the title of British Glass Company of the year.

British Glass CEO Dave Dalton said:

“The Glass Focus Awards are the perfect opportunity to showcase to each other and the world the very best of our industry.

“Now more than ever it’s important to look to each other for best practice, novel and innovative ways we can overcome the challenges we face as a collective.

“We are excited to see the projects and products you’ve all been working on throughout the year but because of the level of uncertainty that still exists in the current circumstances, we’ve decided to extend the deadline entries to this year’s awards.

“We hope that this gives companies from across the sector who have begun their entries or even considered entering ample time to complete them.”

Registration is open for the virtual ceremony which will take place from 4.30 - 6pm BST on 12 November. Join us as we announce category winners, as well as the British Glass business of the year and along with an update from our CEO Dave Dalton, and some extra surprises. Register for free and log on to celebrate the achievements of our industry.
