The Industry Session at the 2018 SGT Conference in Cambridge will focus on Energy and how it will be delivered to and used by glassmakers worldwide.
The two keynote speakers who will frame the challenges and provide the platform for specialist speakers to outline some solutions: Dave Dalton CEO at British Glass Manufacturers Confederation will speak on Glass Futures and Stuart Hakes CEO at FIC (and SGT President Designate)Ltd will speak on The Use of Electricity in Glassmaking.
The conference also includes:
• A three day programme on Glass Science
• History and Heritage on Wednesday 5 September
• Conference banquet is on Tuesday 4 September at Christ’s College
