A Zero-Stress Aging Relationship For Optical Fibre

Recent experimental studies have demonstrated and characterized the zero-stress aging effect on commercially available acrylate-coated optical fibre. This work has led to the discovery of an analytical, exponential decay function that relates fibre strength to aging time for a given set of conditions.
