Viscous Shear Thinning During Glass Forming

Glass workability is central to glass design and production, but is dependant on a great many factors. In this article, the authors discuss melt viscosity and examine its dependence on the applied deformation rate. The viscosity relates the applied stress to the deformation rate of the glass.
