Use Of Auxiliary Electrodes In The Analysis Of Transition Elements In Very Pure Glass And Silica By Spark Source Mass Spectrography (In French)

The use of optical fibres as guides in communication systems is now possible with the very pure glass and the silica with low absorption and scattering which are currently available. The characterisation of the materials is as important as the design of the systems. It is necessary to know the total attenuation and its causes in order to improve the manufacturing processes.
