Unusual Immiscibility Structures In Tellurite Glasses

Unusual droplet microaggregates are observed in TeO2-rich glasses of the systems Te02-B203, Te02-Ge02, Te02-B203-Ge02, and Te02-Ge02-V205. A decease of the Te02 content is established in the aggregates in comparison with the matrix. Their appearance is related to the process of metastable liquid-phase separation at high viscosity of the melts.
