Time-Transient Mathematical Modeling Of A Fibre Glass Furnace

Three-dimensional mathematical modeling has been successfully applied towards understanding the effects of glass furnace design and operating changes under ready-state conditions. However, due to the nature of the glass melting process, modeling of time-dependent perturbations represents a further refinement towards improved furnace stability and product consistency. Extension of the time-dependent model can also be applied to the area of sensor development.
