Stabilizing Distressed Glass Furnace Melter Crowns

Higher furnace temperatures and pull rates in glass-melting furnaces create difficult operating environments for furnace crowns made of traditional silica or AZS materials. To lessen the effects of accelerated wear, several hot-repairing methods have been used for attaining the planned campaign.
