Some Experiments On The Analysis Of Glass Bubbles By Classical Methods

The three methods available for gas analysis are described. These are direct extraction of the gas under glycerine and measurement of the bubble diameter; the Angenot method used by Kruszewski for analysis of bubble contents; and the vacuum grinding method used by Ryde and Huddart. Results obtained using the first two methods are compared.
