In this article the author considers the most suitable refractories to install in the upper area of regenerator chambers, as well as in the crown and upper parts of the walls, including dividing walls. He examines the most commonly used qualities, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses, in order to make the correct choice according to existing stresses in the area.
