Preparation And Characterisation Of Glasses In The System Cao-Sio2 By The Sol-Gel Procedure (Spanish)

Sols were prepared from silicon ethoxide and calcium nitrate. The calcium silicate glasses prepared showed crystallisation of wollastonite at temperatures above 900 degrees C and devitrification of silica in the form of alpha-cristobalite and alpha-quartz.
