Prediction Of Vaporisation Processes Of Oxide Glasses And Melts Based On High Temperature Mass Spectrometric Data

Based on the results of the studies of the vaporisation processes of oxides and the binary oxide systems, obtained by high-temperature mass spectrometry and summarized in this paper, the composition of gaseous phase and partial pressures of vapour over four multicomponent industrial glasses were predicted. Evaluation of the ratios of partial pressures of the main vapour species was carried out using the model of the ideal solutions of complex phases. Reasonable agreement was illustrated between the values of the total mass losses of glasses, calcualted and obtained during the technological processes of their preparation at high temperatures.
