An Overview Of Basalt Fibres

A new type of man-made fibre has entered the market in recent years. Fiberised basalt is a product situated in the commercial sector of technical fibres between special glasses and carbon fibres. Their commercial production began in Russia and Ukraine but the competitive price, combined with their properties, has attracted new European companies and research institutes to examine their potential.
