Nonisothermal Kinetic Studies Of Rare Earth Doped Tellurite Glasses

Te02 glasses doped with 10st% different rare earth oxides of the type La203, Ce02, Sm203, Nd203, Dy203, and Yb203 were prepared. For all prepared glasses the preparation conditions are as similar as possible. Crystallisation kinetics of the Te02-RE glass system has been carried out under non isothermal conditions using differential thermal analysis (DTA). Results of DTA performed at different heating rates, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50 degrees C/min are discussed.
