Next'S "Just Pink" Fragrance Bottle A Challenge For Sto Flaconnage

Next has repackaged its "Just Pink" fragrance in 25 & 75ml bottles from STO- Flaconnage. "The required bottle shape was an inverse taper with a heavy base - the glass distribution thus presented a challenge" says STO Group Sales Director, Mark Devonald-Smith. "The glass had to be pinched in against its natural flow. The inner shape also needed to descend in a dew drop curve - another problem as molten glass's natural tendency is to climb up the bottle sides rather than remain in position to provide the classically heavy base." STO also printed the bottle, with ceramic etching producing a "lacy pattern" for the 75ml variant, & a second pass providing the fragrance name & brand.
