New Ternary Tellurite Glasses: Te02-W03-Sb204 And Te02-W03-Gs203

Transparent glass materials in the ternary systems Te02-W03-Sb204 and Te02-WO3-Ga03 were obtained by rapid quenching techniques. Glass formation ranges were established. Thermal parameters were deduced from differential scanning calorimetry analyses. Variation of the glass transition temperature with composition reveals a structural evolution of the glass matrix. A structural analysis of some ternary glass compositions was made using infrared spectroscopy.
