Nanostructured Borate Glass Ceramis Containing Pbmo04

Nanostructured glass ceramic materials are synthesised using a combination of a B203 or Pb0-B203 glassy matrix and PbMo04 crystals. Various melting technologies are applied to obtain composites containing from 80 to 60 mol% vitreous B203, together with PbM04 crystals. Ceramic sintering is used for the fabrication of materials from the PbMo04 crystalline phase and a lead borate glassy matrix. The sample density is measured and electrical conductivity values are determined.
