Moulded Building Blocks Of Different Foamed Glass Layers And Process For Making Same

A molded building block is manufactured by heating to 700-900C stratified layers of 90-10% (preferably 80%) powdered boron or lead oxide glass containing a foaming agent, and 19-19wt% (preferably 20%) of a granular powdered siliceous material produced by dissolving 0.02-0.7 parts of a fibrous silicate in one part of aqueous alkali silicate solution and then drying and granulating this mixture.
