A Mathematical Approach To Calculate Glass Properties As A Function Of Chemical Composition - Part 1 Density Thermal Expansion (In Italian)

Some mathematical expressions in the literature are described in order to determine in a theoretical way, the main properties of industrial soda-lime glasses from their chemical composition. A comparison with the experimental values obtained at the SSV made it possible to establish a mathematical model yielding theoretical data very close to the actual ones, for the two properties examined in the title.
