The Little Book Of Collectable British Pyrex

A new publication, available from 14th February 2007, ISBN 978-1846855566, "The Little Book of Collectable British Pyrex" is fully illustrated throughout in colour, and provides a comprehensive guide. Pyrex was patented in America in 1915 and was produced in Sunderland between 1921 and 1973 by James A. Jobling. Having been made only during this period it is becoming increasingly rare and collectable. The author of this publication owns hundreds of pieces of Pyrex and the book tells you everything you need to know about production methods and the design of Pyrex glassware, as well as giving an insight into what it was like to work in the Sunderland factory. The book is priced around £17.99.
