The temperature range for the hot forming of foam glass was determined. The measurements made it possible to obtain curves for the kinetics of forced deformation in the hot state. Foam glass containing 1% and 2% CaCO3 as a gas developing agent was investigated. It was found that glass containing 1% CaCO3 must be formed under a higher pressure and over a longer time than glass containing 2%. The results of the investigations show that the hot forming of foam glass is possible.
