Kinetic Specifics Of The Synthesis Of Luminescent Materials Using The Sol-Gel Method

Based on the sol-gel method for producing luminescent materials, the process kinetics is studied for the initial stages of hydrolysis and polycondensation of tetraethoxysiloxane for different temperatures and component ratios. A model of the process is proposed, and reaction rate constants are determined. A conclusion is made on the limiting effect of the polycondensation stage up to the moment of gel formation.
