A study of iron-doped soda-lime-silica glass, using square-wave voltammetry, showed that at low iron concentrations and at high temperatures the reduction of the Fe3+ to the Fe2+ ion is a one-step process, while at high iron contents and relatively low temperatures a two-step process was observed.
