Influence Of Tank Geometry And The Electrode Arrangement On The Flow And Temperature Distribution At Different Loads In A Glass Tank Furnace

Using a physical model to a scale of 1:15, the flow distrubition and isotherm patterns were determined for a hollow ware tank with a melting area of 68m2 at different loads, both with and without electric boosting. In addition, the tank geometry was varied.
