Influence Of Chemical Structure Of Caesiumborate Melts On Their Thermodynamic Properties

The EMF study of caesiumborate melts containing 0-45mol% Cs20 is carried out over the temperature range 800-1300K. The complete set of thermodynamic properties of the melts is calculated being referred to the corresponding properties of pure oxides. The results obtained is discussed in terms of acid-base interaction of the components of the melts. A chemical structure of the melts is simulated on the basis of the ideal assiciated solution model.
