Influence Of Ba0/(Sr0+Ba0) On Some Thermal Properties Of R20-Ro-Si02 Glasses For Plasma Display Panel Substrate

An influence of Ba0/(Sr0+Ba0) on some thermal properties was studied in alkali - alkaline earth - silica PDP substrate glasses. Sr0 was replaced progressively by Ba0 at fixed concentration of alkaline earth oxides. Four viscosity fixed points at low temperature, thermal expansion coefficient and density of glasses were determined. The compositional dependence of those properties was discussed from the viewpoint of the mixed alkaline earth effect and the raw material cost.
