Flow Of Molten Glass In The Melting In The Melting Chamber Chamber Of A Tank Furnace.

Observations made by the authors on scale models of furnaces lead them to consider that the melting end of a tank furnace is the seat of a relatively simple convection flow. The flow is analysed mathematically for a longitudinal half section.
