Effect Of Different Factors On Foam Formation In Glass During Secondary Heat Treatment In Vacuum

Results for Ag-oxide-activated phosphate glasses containing P205:Al2O3:Li20=5.1:1:3 indicate that the temp. (7) of foaming decreases with the decreasing size of the glass granules; a sharp decrease in T was observed when the granule size was 0.1-1.5mm.
