Beam Global Spirits & Wine has featured glass embossing on the UK launch of its single malt Scotch Whisky,Ardmore Traditional Cask. The clear glass bottle designed by re@ch & made by O-I at Alloa features minimal labelling with a dramatic embossing of a soaring eagle on the lower half. The Aberdeenshire distillery's heritage is emphasised by the adjacent embossing of "Ardmore Founded 1898 Highlands." The container is made in 70cl, 75cl & one litre sizes. O-I manufactures the Ardmore bottle on its flexible production line at Alloa, which enables different containers of the same weight to be made simultaneously. A spokesman said: "Only glass can transfer such an evocative image into the very fabric of the packaging to create a container, which enhances the brand image & consumer anticipation."
