Development In Float Glass Annealing. Part 2

Discusses the computer calculation of direct cooling during the fast cooling section of an annealing lehr in order to optimise the cooling rate of the glass ribbon. Increases of 50% in the rated cooling speed have been achieved without causing breakages of the ribbon.
