Density-Structure Correlations In Ca0-Si02, Na20-Ca0-Si02 And K20-Ca0-Si02 Glasses

Relations are proposed to analyse the density data of Ca0-Si02, Na20-Ca0-Si02 and K20-Ca0-Si02 glasses. It has been deduced that the volume of any of the structural units is constant and depends neither on the composition nor the type of glass. The volumes obtained are mostly the same found in the corresponding binary silicate glasses.
