Cool Label Adhesive

A high performance caseing adhesive said to offer "Exceptional levels of ice water & condensation resistance on cold wet bottles,even when exposed to crushed ice" has been launched by National Adhesives. The company says Eticol 706 is: "Not only high performance, but also heavy metal & synthetic polymer free." It is claimed to perform consistently at machine speeds of up to 70,000 bottles/hr, to be effective, even on "difficult" low weight or metallised labels, & to be applicable by all types of rotary wet glue labellers to dry, wet, cold or warm bottles. It is also said to be clearer running than "traditional" caseing adhesives, enabling equpiment maintenance to be undertaken with warm water.
