Comprehensive Linkage Of Defect And Phase Equilibira Through Ferroelectric Transition Behavior In Bati03-Based Dielectrics: Part 1. Defect Energies Under Ambient Air Conditions

The investigators examined defect and phase equilibria via ferroelectric phase transition behaviour of pure and equilibrated non-stoichiometric BaTiO3 powder samples. They noted variations in phase transition temperature and determined solubility limits. They also evaluated the formation enthalpy and entropy for partial-Schottky defect reactions.
