A series of quantitative analyses for determining contents of CaO, MgO, ZnO and R2O3 in solution are described. During the analyses the different determinations are carried out at the same time complexometrically by the use of solutions with constant pH values and using complexometric masking agents. The method has been successfully employed for quality control of fluorine opal glasses and special electrical glasses.
