Achieving Controllable Sol-Gel Processing Of Tellurite Glasses Through The Use Of Te (Vi) Precursors

This paper describes an alternative strategy toward the sol-gel preparation of tellurite thin films, in which a lower cost and higher stability tellurium (VI) metalorganic complex is used as the precursor, with a view to overcoming some of the practical difficulties identified with the use of the tellurium (iv) alkoxide precursors.
