British Glass and Glass Technology Services will be attending Futurebuild 2019 after being invited by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to exhibit in the “Innovation Zone”.

Held at the ExCel in London, Futurebuild takes place on the 5th to the 7th of March and is the biggest conference event in the construction industry with over 26,000 professionals attending each year.

Both companies will be there to discuss innovation in construction as well as showcasing their work and expertise in grant-funded projects.

The event will have several show areas and will include seminars on a wide range of topics, including energy, materials, waste and the circular economy and urban infrastructure.

As well as the show areas, the ‘Innovation Zone’ will aim to inspire and educate attendees on the government’s clean growth initiatives, whilst also providing innovative companies with knowledge on how to access funding and support from both BEIS and Innovate UK.

Representatives from FISSAC (Fostering Industrial Symbiosis for a Sustainable Resource Intensive Industry across the extended Construction Value Chain) and Glass Futures will also be attending the event alongside British Glass and Glass Technology Services.

Any visitors to the event with an idea they would like to fund should visit the companies at Stand B112.
