Zirconia For Improving The Properties Of High Alumina And Basic Refractories

There have been remarkable developments regarding the addition of alumina and magnesia to zircon bricks in recent years. This paper looks at the potential application of refractories capable of being improved with the addition of zircon spans several different fields and at first sight can be confusing. It would seem sensible to summarize the results of manifold publications on this subject, especially as they have not yet received much attention.
