Zippe Builds Batch Plant For Rockware

When Rockware Glass Ltd decided early in 1992 to increase the melting capacity of its three Knottingley furnaces by more than 30%, it decided the existing batch plant was too small to cope. An increase in capacity and refurbishment was not appropriate, because of the age and low performance of the existing facilities, so it was decided to build a brand new batch plant.
