Zero Defect Quality Through Machine Vision

This article describes the advantages of machine vision in the search for zero defect quality in glass. The author provides information about the latest status of technology of dimensional and visual defect detection. It is shown that the surface inspection in glass products has gained considerable interest over the last few years in a number of areas of the industry, due to the many benefits over traditional inspection methods.
