Window On Iran

Iran's glass industry is enjoying a sustained period of investment presently. Previously, old sheet glass lines are being continually investigated for replacement with float glass capacity, whilst the country's leading companies are embracing the need for more sophisticated glass types such as Low E, self-cleaning and solar control. Although the markets for these particular glasses are presently low in Iran, the country's strategic geographic position means that it is able to supply into the increasingly competitive Middle East market.
