Waterford Property Deal

Waterford Wedgwood announced it will redevelop land at its Kilbarry crystal manufacturing site in a joint venture agreed with Ballymore Properties. The luxury goods manufacturer said that the plant had 14.5 hectares of excess land in a prime location and that it would generate a better return being developed. Although the value of the deal was not disclosed, Waterford is expected to make a significant return on the project. The company said the deal would not affect production or staff levels at the plant. (whole item)
