Waterford Pilsner Glass

Waterford was first linked with glass in 1783 when two brothers, George and William Penrose, decided to go make crystal of "as fine a quality as any in Europe.. in the most elegant style". Today, this manufacturer, which was revived with Irish independence, caters for drinkers of every taste and style. As well as providing prestigious vessels for spirits and liqueurs, Waterford Crystal has responded to the popularity of lager (not traditionally drunk in Ireland) with the pilsner glass of the Marquis collection.
