[Ware Handling] Stacking Fast

A flexible, robot-assisted stacker has been developed which can handle a variety of custom cut glass. Grenzebach developed the High Speed Stacker (HSS) especially for the US market in response to differences between float operations in Europe and the USA. On a cutting line, lites with widely differing end sizes are produced according to the different products being made, from window glass to car glass to glass for building. A stacking device therefore, has to be extremely flexible: the smaller the lite, the faster the stacker has to handle the incoming quantities of glass. The HSS can stack lites starting from 12x18 inches at up to 90 lites per minute and has a size capability ranging up to 73x97 inches. For more information see: www.grenzebach.com
