Volatile Organic Compounds Reduced

This article discusses the latest work from Ferro, who has made concentrated efforts to reduce VOCs in its glass colour coatings and inks, as supplied to the flat, automotive and container glass markets. The latest developments have centred on the development of ink medium systems for application by screen printing or roller coating and VOCs in the company's latest lead-free glass enamels have been reduced by up to 100% to levels of around 120g/litre for roll-coating applications.
