Vitrum '97 - A Record Turnout

The 10th edition of Vitrum, the international exhibition for glass and glass processing machinery and accessories, was staged in Milan from 22-25 october 1997. The show saw a record turnout and exhibitors were very satisfield with the volume of business achieved. Furthermore, exhibits featuring restored glass artifacts of great archeological value recovered from shipwreck finds added interest to the show. Ancient marine glass routes were disclosed, giving visitors an idea as to the history of glassmaking.
