This second part concludes the dossier on the Vietnamese glass industry. Vietnam is currently enjoying a more liberal economic policy from the government, consistent growth in GDP and a steady rise in direct foreign investment. Given the target demand of 25m square metres of construction glass by 2000 (only 2.94m square metres in 1994), the outlook for the flat glass industry in Veitnam has bever been more positive.
