[Vietnam] Viglacera To Expand Temepered Glass

Glass and construction materials giant, Vietnam Building Glass & Ceramics Corporation (Viglacera) is expected to announce its foray into the tempered glass market by unveiling an expansion at its float glass facilities Autumn 2007. Viglacera is already the country's leading float glass supplier with vietnam Float Glass, although competition is emerging from other manufacturers, most recently Tam Hiep Glass Jt Stock Co. However, Viglacera, retains a market leading position, possessing as it does Dap Cau Sheet Glass, a leading supplier of processed glasses throughout the country. It is unclear if the new tempering line will be installed at Dap Cau, or directly at VFG.
