The design and construction of the Dap Cau Sheet Glass Co plant, which is owned by state-run VIGLACERA (Glass & Ceramics Corporation), was achieved with help from the former Soviet Union. The factory, which came on-stream in April 1990, is the glass sector's largest production and business operation in Vietnam.
