[Vietnam] Construction Begins On Two Nsg Coated Glass Factories

Work has begun on two coated glass factories in the southern province of Vietnam. NSG Vietnam, a subsidiary of Japan's NSG Group, began construction of the factories producing transparent conductive oxide (TCO) and ultra-fine flat (UFF) glass in the southern province of Ba Ria Vung Tau on 6 September 2011. Located at the My Xuan A Industrial Park in Tan Thanh district, the two factories will be built at a total cost of US$232M. The TCO glass factory will be NSG's eigth and the second to be located in Vietnam. Once completed, the two factories are expected to provide jobs for 500 local technical workers. Most of their products will be exported.
