[Vietnam] Chu Lai Float Glass - Us$ 100M Float Glass Plant Opens

Chu Lai Float Glass JSC has opened a USD 100 million glass factory in central Vietnam, state media said 23 February 2010. The plant, located in Quang Nam province, has a daily capacity of 900 metric tons, Voice of Vietnam radio reported. The plant will export 30% of its output and sell the remainder on the domestic market, the report said. The plant is expected to generate revenue of VND2 trillion (USD 104.7 million) a year, it added.
